Summary:
MCF has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Manager. This position is for an organized, responsive individual with a high level of social intelligence. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible primarily for administering payroll, benefits and leave processes, hiring/recruiting, and developing/enforcing company policies and practices.

Job responsibilities would include:

Partner with leadership to understand and execute the organization’s talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning

Manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring/on-boarding of qualified applicants
-
Partner with the Controller to complete bi-weekly payroll processing
-
Provide support and guidance to staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise
-
Maintain personnel records and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances, such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, disciplinary meetings, and terminations

Administer benefits and insurance renewals
-
Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees
-
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; Review existing policies and practices to maintain compliance
-
Maintain knowledge of trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources, talent management, and employment law

Maintain Employee Handbook and other on-boarding resource documents

Facilitate annual review process

Make recommendations to the Board of Directors on strategies for compensation, benefits, and employee perks through market analysis

Maintain open lines of communication with all staff members
-
Facilitate staff community outreach through development of outreach programs & policies

Facilitate team-building and professional working dynamics among staff members

The ideal candidate must have the following skills for consideration:

Minimum of 3 Years Professional Experience preferred
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
-
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certifications preferred

Friendly, trustworthy individual who is able to make employees feel comfortable coming to them with issues

Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Strong systems knowledge of payroll, benefits, and crossover systems

Knowledge of recruiting through social media platforms

Knowledge of technology solutions for onboarding, performance evaluations, recruiting
